If you enter that, you will get [All Fields] instead. In 2013, PubMed started displaying author keywords when supplied by publishers. (1) NLM doesn’t review author keywords. Author keywords can be searched using the Other Term [OT] or Text Words [TW] tags. Type smoking into the search box and click on search.
In the Basic Search box, just type the author's last name space initials (with no punctuation just a space in between). Then click Search. For example: To search using the Advanced Search mode in the Author Field: To click an author's name in a citation on Abstract display to see all the references by this author. This function is enabled by PubMed's Computed Author Sort Order feature.
